This is an antique Purse which I bought. It is done on an even weave linen using very tiny beads. The background beads are milky white, and some of the greens are irridescent. The letters and date are square cut brass beads. On one side it is dated 1843, and on the other side it says "Gift", making it seem as though the bag was originally made as a gift for someone. What a friend to have!!!
